I think there are some pretty universal things that make relationships healthy. One of the most important ones is that you both have your own lives. It took me a long time to learn that a little distance and a little space sometimes aren’t a bad thing. It doesn’t mean your partner doesn’t want to see you and it doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy spending time with you, it just means they want to see their friends or enjoy their own company.
That is totally normal and okay. Plus, it gives you time to do you, and then you can tell each other all about it later!
It is important to remember you’re each your own person.
Remember to take your time.
Be supportive and believe in the good.
Always take the leap of faith.
